Reflection in the Distance
In the upper left of this picture there appears to be a small floating globe of bright light, with a reddish tint and some sort of “pseudo pod” extending to the right.
Closer inspection reveals it to be a stop sign in the distance, several hundred feet beyond the area illuminated by the flash. Stop signs are designed to be highly reflective, and even though it was in the distance, it reflected enough of the flash to appear much brighter than its surroundings.
